Triggers and Slips have been kicking around Utah for three years now in one incarnation or another. They play all over the state, from Salt Lake State Street dives to swanky Park City venues to festival dates like Powellapalooza and Uncle Uncanny’s. Staying true to their country roots has been key to their recent success. 70’s Outlaw Country influences these guys more than anything else, with lead singer Morgan Snow’s voice bearing more than a passing resemblance to that of Waylon Jennings or Tompall Glaser. Zach Griffin and Will Grimshaw hold down the bottom on bass and drums, while John Davis accents everything with electric and lap steel guitars. We know you’ll like this one.
